Insert Bearings
Turner insert bearings are replaceable components designed for use in our mounted ball bearing units, allowing worn bearings to be replaced without changing the entire housing assembly. Each series is engineered for a unique combination of load requirements and operating conditions, with different locking methods used to secure the inner ring to the shaft.
HC200 Series
HC inserts are general-duty ball bearing inserts with an eccentric locking collar. The collar tightens in the direction of shaft rotation, providing increased holding power in steady, one-direction applications subject to vibration. They’re well-suited for belt conveyors, grain handling equipment, agricultural machinery, and other continuously rotating systems where stronger shaft retention is required without moving to a concentric or tapered adapter design.
An eccentric locking collar increases shaft retention in one-direction rotation and helps resist loosening under vibration.
Dual extended inner rings increase shaft contact area and help reduce inner-ring cocking.
A spherical outer diameter allows external self-alignment within compatible housings.
A precision-machined relubrication ring aligns with the housing grease fitting to direct grease into the ball path for consistent lubrication.
The Turner Advantage
SAE 52100 steel inner and outer rings provide consistent hardness and fatigue resistance that increases service life.
Optional L3 triple-lip seals increase sealing contact for better protection in severe contamination conditions.
Steel retainers improve durability under heat, shock, and variable loading compared to polymer cages.
Available with Lubrilife permanent lubrication for maximum contamination protection without routine maintenance.
Standard contact seals retain grease and block common industrial contaminants.
