Tapped Base Pillow Block Units
TB Series
Mounted ball bearing tapped base pillow blocks are designed to support horizontal shafts under primarily radial loads. Threaded mounting holes allow the unit to be installed from the bottom side, making this housing well-suited for applications where topside access is limited by frames, guarding, or enclosed bases. This configuration provides the same functional role as a standard pillow block while simplifying installation in constrained layouts such as conveyors with boxed or tube-frame construction and processing equipment with integrated baseplates.
Threaded mounting holes allow bottom-side installation when topside access is restricted.
Solid-base cast-iron housings maintain rigidity and load-carrying capacity comparable to standard pillow block designs.
